having a boring time, I coincidently found something that interesting to read. Yeah "The Alchemist" it's a novel, this book is the most recomended novel when I surf in the internet forum. I'm really interested by the review about this book. So it's decided, "The Alchemist" to dispel the dull time.
The Alchemist is absolutely awesome one. Written by paulo coelho, published in 1988, sold more than 30 million copies in 65 different languages, becoming one of the best-selling books in history and winning the Guinness World Record for most translated book by a living author. The Alchemist is really simple but really inspiring, when I said simple I really mean it. Simple story and of course the simple words, I read the english ver and I seldom find a rare vocabs (its really different when I read Sherlock holmes, the vocabs, fiuuuh...). Although it's simple it has a lot of lesson about life, dream, and wisdom.
The story is about pursuing a dream. A young shepherd from Andalusia who traveled to egypt in search of treasure that he dreamed of.Along the way, he encounters danger, opportunity, disaster, love and learns a lot about himself, and he meets alot of people, a gypsy woman, an old king, crystal cup seller, fatima, oasis people, and the legendary Alchemist who help him and teach him to be his disciple.
What I like about this shepherd journey is that it teach you to follow your dreams, no matter how hard it is. There is a time you get tired, you wanted to stop pursuing, and it's no problem, you can stop for a while, rest and think about what you've been through, and whenever you ready you can continue your journey. Remember it is not the destination but the journey, that counts.
Yeaah...this is it, The Alchemist become my recomended one. I think a lot of people agree with me about the inspiring lesson in this book. So if you have a dull time why don't you try to read "The Alchemist".... see ya.
